APPENDIX 1 TO THE PRIVACY POLICY OF 4WL SP. Z O.O. SHOP – A LIST OF ADVERTISING AND ANALYTICAL TOOLS USING COOKIES

ANALYTICAL COOKIES:

1. We use Google Analytics

  • Information that Google Analytics collects about users, e.g. how many times a user visits the website; which sub-pages are visited; date of the first and last visit; the visit duration; the website from which the user has entered the website (source); the browser used by the user; the link that has been clicked; the place in the world from which the user gets access, anonymised (short) IP address, etc.
  • Google assigns to individual users their own ID (so-called Google ID) and gathers on its servers data obtained from cookies from various websites. We – as the owner of the Website – may receive reports from Google (statistics) related only to traffic on our Website. These reports include, of course, only the people who have agreed on our Website to record their visits by Google Analytics.
  • You can find further details about Google Analytics functioning here and here.
  • You can also permanently prevent Google Analytics from recording information from your browser using a special plug-in located here.

2. Cookies of the provider of software for our Store

  • The software provider, thanks to which our Shop operates, i.e. the owner of the shoper.pl platform, places cookies on our Website in order to collect summary information about how customers use online shops (opened sub-pages and time spent on them, displayed products, clicks on the Shop’s website, analytical information about purchases, e.g. conversion ratios).
  • These data are used to create collective reports for the owners of e-shops containing general (without personal data) information on what products are of interest to customers of a given shop, the period with increased traffic or sales in shops, etc. Thanks to this, retailers (including us) can improve their shops and optimise the sales processes.
  • You can read the full information about this in the Cookie Policy for the visitors of the Shoper shops.

ADVERTISING COOKIES

1. We use Google Ads and other Google advertising tools

  • Google gathers on its servers data obtained from cookies placed on your device. These data are collected on all websites where you have authorised the use of cookies for advertising purposes by Google (including on our Website), as well as from advertisements that you have clicked. Google makes use of this information in order to display advertisements on other websites visited by you. Typically, cookies from Google expire after 3 months.
  • We, as advertisers using Google services, do not have access to data from cookies stored on your device, but we can commission advertisements to groups of customers with the features of our choice, e.g. to all those who visited our website (or a specific sub-page) in the last 7 days. For us, these data are only a statistical material and we commission advertisements based on collective criteria (to specified target groups, not to a specific user).
  • We can also use (as part of using Google Marketing Platform) tools to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns (e.g. how many people have clicked on a given advertisement in a given time).
  • You can read more about how Google uses cookies to display advertisements and how you can manage your browser settings with regard to advertisements here and here.

2. Meta conversion pixel (Facebook and Instagram)

  • We use the so-called “conversion pixel” (remarketing pixel) from Meta to manage advertisements on Facebook and Instagram.
  • If you agree to use this cookie on our Website, then, using this tool, the Meta Platforms get information that you have visited our Website. This information is assigned to your profile on a given platform, if you have it. If you are not a user of these platforms, then the information is assigned to the so-called “Facebook ID” created for you.
  • Thanks to this, we can commission advertisements on Facebook and Instagram to those who have already visited our Website or individual sub-pages (remarketing). We then receive from Meta Platforms only statistics on the effectiveness of advertisements (e.g. how many people saw our advertisement, how many people have clicked on it) without reference to specific users.
  • If you have an account on Facebook or Instagram, we encourage you to read further information about data protection on these platforms here and here.
  • You can read more about the Meta’s remarketing pixel here.

3. LinkedIn conversion pixel

  • We use the so-called “LinkedIn conversion pixel” (LinkedIn Insight Tag) to manage advertisements and our communication on LinkedIn.
  • If you agree to use this cookie on our Website, then, using this tool, LinkedIn gets information that you have visited our Website. This information is assigned to your profile on this platform, if you have it. If you are not a user of this platform, then the information is assigned to the so-called “LinkedIn ID” created for you.
  • Thanks to this, we can commission on LinkedIn advertisements to those who have already visited our Website or individual sub-pages (remarketing), we measure the conversion of our advertisements on LinkedIn, and we adjust our communication on this portal to the general profile of users of our Shop.
  • If you have an account in LinkedIn, we encourage you to read further information on personal data protection on this platform here. You can read more about LinkedIn Insight Tag here.

4. E-mail marketing

  • We use the tools provided to us by an external company for the purposes of the newsletter.
  • The e-mail marketing system puts on our Website cookies used to display subscription forms and to measure the effectiveness of these forms (conversion ratio).
