The watch is equipped with calibre 4130, a self-winding mechanical chronograph movement and a 72-hour power reserve. The watch’s water resistance is 100 metres. The case, bezel and bracelet are all made from 18-karat white yellow gold. The chronograph came to be incredibly popular when American singer John Mayer referred to and voiced his opinion about the watch in an interview with Ben Clymer for Hoodinkee’s hugely popular “Talking Watches 2” programme. Since then, the popularity of this piece of reference has skyrocketed, and it has become a coveted chronograph in the collection of every enthusiast and collector. This is why the watch was given the nickname “John Mayer Daytona”. There are not many people in the world who have a watch named in their honour, but John Mayer is definitely one of them.
